Solaris → Linux Migration (Project SUNdown) http://www.redhat.com/sundown http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/migratetoibm/sun/ – SUN announced EOL for UltraSPARC-IV and UltraSPARC-IV+ processors as of 8-JAN 2009. Translates into and end of life for all of their servers that have more than 4 sockets, including the venerable E25k. – Global program with Red Hat & IBM. ● Special focus on APAC, which contains immense SUN footholds.
